DESCRIPTION:A second concert during our 4 day trip will be held with Milton Glee Choir. There is a connection through our choir friend Mark Jefferson\, the former MD of St Edmundsbury MVC\, and now the MD of Milton Glee Choir. It will be great to be conducted by Mark again and to make new friends in Portsmouth in this well respected mixed choir. \nMilton Glee Choir is a fun and friendly group of around 75 people who love to sing. They enjoy performing a wide range of music from Elvis to Verdi\, Snow Patrol to Lloyd Webber and Elbow to Mozart – something for everyone to enjoy learning and singing.

SUMMARY:Brass and Voices
DESCRIPTION:In support of our local John Eastwood Hospice we a have been invited by our friends Newstead Brass to join them in a concert at one of our favourite venues. Forest Town Arena has hosted our Christmas concert for over 20 years and more recently we have been joined by Newstead Brass who are not only a respected competition band but wonderful entertainers. This is sure to be a great afternoon /evening of song and fun. The cause is as a good one and of course both groups are performing for free in support of the charity. DESCRIPTION:St. Edmunds chuch is at the heart of the community in Mansfield Woodhouse and we are pleased to be returning to perform in this venerbale building as it is a few years since we last did so.\nCongregations have worshipped here since the 14th Century and the atmosphere is very conducive to choral singing. DESCRIPTION:Our choir President\, Mr. David Marriott\, is welcoming the choir to his church in Clipstone where he has been a church warden for many years. We are pleased to be able to support the church and David who so keenly and effectively supports our choir. A reciprocal relationship with local churches and leaders embeds Mansfield and District Male Voice Choir into the community and\,  afterall\, we see ourselves as ambassadors for Mansfield choral music and were recognised as such in 2019 when we were awarded Freedom of the Town.\nThe church is a super venue with a great acoustic and sure to be a focal point in May 2027 as we humbly\, gratefully and professionally take the stage.
