“A light – hearted fun way of getting people together”

The Mansfield MVC Supporters’ Group was formed in October 2012 following a decision by our main committee to not only raise vital funds but primarily to reach out to the wives and families of our choir members to get them more involved in our choir community. They meet on a fairly regular basis to plan their events programme and to have good time. This is an informal group but they have a common purpose; raising funds for the choir and have fun doing so. Typically they are involved with arranging our social events including Quiz nights, Raffles, Breakfast mornings and the occasional Barn Dance and Garden Party. What has been important and is central to how the team works is that everyone enjoys making their contribution and of course, the guys in the choir are benefiting from their wives and families being involved.
