We are so excited to have been invited for the fourth time to perform in what for us is the best concert ever in which we could participate. The preparation for this concert can take up to two years as the repertoire naturally includes native Welsh songs, sung in Welsh. For us, and some of the Welsh choirs, this requires considerable effort and practice. In this concert 6 of the 18 songs are in Welsh, tongue twisters all.
The Welsh Association of Male Choirs, of which we are proudly members, invite over 800 choristers to blend in perfect harmony under the fastidious baton of Dr. Alwyn Humphreys, the magical musical director. Families come from far and wide to witness the concert and the weekend is always filled with memorable moments. We cannot wait.
