Just to let everyone know that the Choir are featured in the current edition of the Mansfield & Ashfield News Journal. The Journal is a free publication available locally from supermarkets, pharmacies etc. Thanks to Stewart Rickersey ( proprietor) and Tim Morriss ( editor) for their support with this. Another item of news is that we have been contacted by the production team at Radio Nottingham, who are giving local singers an opportunity to share their story on the Station:
Radio Nottingham are about to launch a big singing campaign in the next couple of weeks which basically aims to get people to sing in groups for wellbeing.
As part of this we are also looking to speak to choirs that already exist.
With this is mind, I was wondering if you had anyone from you choir with a great story about how they got into singing and what it has done forthem to come in for a chat about the difference it has made.
