We had it on our hearts, as a Choir, to present a special gift to Meryl on the occasion of her 80th birthday and what better gift than to offer a birthday song as a surprise! This special surprise was an expression of love, affection and appreciation for all she has done for our Choir as Musical Director for so many years.
We would like to thank the folks at St John’s Church and especially to Judith Asquith and to Geoff Godfrey who kept the whole thing under cover until the curtain was revealed and the surprise was sprung. We could not have organised this without their help
