Christmas Lights Switch On – Clipstone

Clipstone is deep in the former coalfields of Nottinghamshire. Clipstone Welfare was and remains at the heart of the village and camaraderie between former miners is clearly evident. Many members of our choir, over our 80 year history, had direct or indirect employment with the mining industry and it is for this reason we are so pleased to be able to perform at the annual Christmas Lights Switch On at Clipstone Welfare. Also performing will be a steel band and the lights will be switched on by the owner of Mansfield Town Football Club.
